Ph.D. Opening

I am looking for highly self-motivated students at Ph.D. level. A successful candidate is expected to conduct research on one or multiple subjects in the areas of cybersecurity and wireless networking  including wireless virtualization, cyber physical systems, big data analytics, Internet-of-Things, machine learning, software defined networks, general networking, signal processing, and applied math (e.g., optimization, queuing, game theory, etc.). A preferred candidate is expected to meet the following criteria:
  • Earned MS degree (in electrical/computer engineering, electronics/communications engineering, Information/communication engineering, etc. or computer science, software engineering), or a relevant area.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Graduate school admission criteria of Howard University.
  • A solid background in any of the following subjects is a plus: cybersecurity, wireless networking/communication, cyber physical systems, Internet-of-Things, big data analytics, machine learning, software defined networks, signal processing, and applied math (e.g., optimization, queuing, game theory, etc.).

We welcome visiting scholars/professors/postdocs to collaborate in research projects of our mutual interests.
