Ph.D. Openings

I am actively looking for highly self-motivated students at Ph.D. level (PhD will be fully funded with tuition waiver and stipend). A successful candidate is expected to conduct research on one or multiple subjects in the areas of cybersecurity and wireless networking including wireless virtualization, cyber physical systems, big data analytics, Internet-of-Things, machine learning, software defined networks, general networking, signal processing, and applied math (e.g., optimization, queuing, game theory, etc.). A preferred candidate is expected to meet the following criteria:

  • Earned MS degree in EE, CS, or a relevant area.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

  • Graduate school admission criteria of Howard University.

  • A solid background in any of the following subjects is a plus: cybersecurity, wireless networking/communication, machine learning, game theory, Internet-of-Things, networked control system, software defined radio, software defined networks, named data networks, and system implementation.
